I can just imagine the meeting when the stylist's were designing that, "What we'll do is use a barracuda roof, nail that onto my old fishing boat and graft on a couple of big sheets of MDF at the back, job done, we'll knock off early"....


Sorry about the crap photo but, where could they find a barracuda roof in 1956? Or MDF come to that. Look at the concept; low drag and a 392 Hemi, what's not to like?

My Mopar wish list these days would contain (in no particular order);

65 Coronet with Hilborn Electronic fuel injected Hemi
Pete's Wisemans 69 sixpack Superbee
AAR "Pro Touring" Cuda with stroked smallblock.
My mate Eddie's 72 Challenger with 500inch B block and 5 speed.
