For those who asked, here is the Elan, along with my other project. The Challenger hasn't had much of my time this week, due to trying to get the bike finished!

A little more progress. Got the replacement front and rear sub frames stripped, blasted and ready to put in. Am now waiting on all of the sheet metal arriving from AMD in the next few weeks

The plan is to put the car on the chassis jig (which I will hopefully be borrowing) get everything straight and bolted up, then cut out all of the rotten parts and replace them, bolting them back onto the fixed points. Well that's the theory anyway!!

Engine is now disassembled, looks like it had spun a shell on the bottom of one of the con rods. Had a little look down the cylinders and a measure and decided on a re bore at some point whilst I wait for the sheet metal to arrive.

A big job indeed, but it will be a great car again when it's finished.

Keep the photo's coming.
