Good point, I had a blow through!!autofetish wrote:Good info on lines 99% sure I will also go -10 in and outTurnip wrote:Hi Will
Don't you need a boost reference regulator to up the fuel pressure as the boost goes up?
When I had the procharger in I had -10 feed and return
Surly a boost ref regulator would only be needed in a EFI or blow through carb situation. Where inlet fuel pressure is affected by the the boost.
In a suck carb set up ( carbs on top of a 8/71 ) where there is no boost acting on the fuel inlet surly it's not needed.
Not sure
I have quite a bit of black -10 in stock

There would be Pete if I was not using a return style regulator, but due to me wanting to use the one pump for both carbatoota's and the nitrous and after speaking to both Mallory and NOS it was better to keep the fuel pressure at 25psi up to the first regulator so that there would not be a momentary drop in supply pressure when the nitrous fuel solenoid opens which would effect the fuel pressure safety switch on the nitrous side. But I have yet to try this.Pete wrote:Good plan Guy, I have used that on 2 cars now - only minor point is often there is a recirculating loop from the Pump to the tank via an internal bypass pressure valve...

Thanks for that info very kind of you to draw that Guy
Glad we are on the same page the 4300 seems to be the only muti port reg with dash -10 all the way so looks to be the one
Be good to here any feed back when you do get it out for a run
I take it that the Nos fuel safety switch is part of Nos petrol solenoid

Is there any risk of me going over the top ????
The system im going for is the same as guys but on aeromotive website is for
1200 HP forced induction, 1500 HP naturally aspirated.
Never going to be half that much but would rather buy once and have the option of more power /efi later
The only issues I see that I will be circulating hundreds of litres of fuel around the car??
Yes I could run a electrical dimmer switch on pump
any issues with big pump big lines a little ish power
thanks in advance WIll
