But my 350 Corvette is only just over a second slower in the quarter and has a top speed of 170mph yet I can do the 500 mile round trip to the Pod, plus a few runs on the track with just two tanks of fuel.

Economics was never my strong point. Which is why I am forced into it now....

Actually I dropped Diana off at her friends house in it Saturday night and her friend said "Yuk, is that one of those kit-car things"?

And when I was at the Hartside Café on Sunday someone let their black Labrador pee up the front of it. :(

Wish I had known that while I was still there. I would have done the same up the front of the owners car and see how she liked it. Bitch.

When I got home I saw this stuff up the front of the Vette and thought "that looks like brake fluid". Felt a bit slimy between my fingers like brake fluid too. But didn't smell like brake fluid on my fingers.
Then I remembered the dog.

Good job I didn't taste it.

Dave. I actually like Vettes.
Not my thing at all, but if I was up for a proper sports car that's where my dollar would go. :thumbright:

I think the 'Vette is a great car which gives a super car performance at a decent price, and its a big part of Americas Auto heritage.

8-)
