I'm looking forward to another great event, hopefully have more time to get round one or two more members. There's a fair bit going on whilst your there.
Looking forward to seeing your car back on the circuit.
Yeah its going to be bigger and better this year Guy. Done loads of mods on the 'Bird which should see me go quite a bit quicker. The goal: to keep up with Mick Tester's no.9 Dodge, last year was fun but it opened my eyes up a bit about what I needed to do with the car, its been all in bits but now coming together .... I'm gonna give it a damned good go but we'll see

If you want a late model, I'm going already and can send photos on to you if you think its any use.
Guy
Yes please Guy, just e-mail them to the address on the page before and tell them you're part of the MMA .
Matt,
I have a good one that was taken for me, I will scan it in and send it tomorrow morning from work.
Thats one more of your 5 sorted.
Guy
Matt,
I sent the picture of the car to Speedfest today, I'm not sure whether it will qualify for the MMA points as it appears we have 5 cars selected already?.
I hope to have it back up and running in a few weeks. Decided now the heads are off I may as well put the bigger Cam in I got off Dave Bishop last year.

Yeah hopefully, I was running it around with a 750 vac sec on it, bought an 850 DP last year but didn't have much success with the bogging down all the time, think that maybe due to the wrong power valve so done a rebuild and will experiment with the power valves and see how that goes.

Cant help but think an 850 might be a bit much for 383ci but obviously there are so many other factors. There's plenty of knowledge on here that would advise mate. Never been a fan of vac secs, always preferred mechanical as you're more in control. Anyway, what ever you decide good luck with it all mate
