Frank Middelweek who lives in Woodford has a pre-production convertible that came over for the Earls Court motor show meant to be the first Mustang ever built

yes Steve, definite =P~ =P~ =P~ material!

Not sure what the going rate is/was for these but I'd have thought they'd have brought in a bit more profit at Barrett Jackson :?

Didn't realise how rare these 429's are (only 800-odd)

There used to be 2 down this way when we first got the Satellite. Paul Edwards with a black one and Steve Smy with a dark blue one.

(at least I'm pretty sure Steve's was a 429 and not a 428 :-k )

If I was one of these lottery winners then a Boss 429 would be on the shopping list to sit next to the Hemi E-Body on the same list. :thumbright:

Yes Pauls car was a minter, remember it to this day, spent some time trying to get it to go faster down the 1/4, bet he wishes he still had it......going to the Easter meet with him on the Saturday in his New 2013 BOSS 302....that should get me excited again, 32 valves, stickshift and 444hp at 7500rpm :thumbright:

Jim Morrisons gt 500, I remember this came out in '71, just about the time of Vanishing Point, similar story theme in the desert me thinks.
