Lifes Too Fast But The Car`s Not, It even managed to miss the boat twice.

Indeed, as per the number plate I believe its a 1949 Mercury with the lead sled treatment.... it was absolutely flawless and was the standout car there for me.....You can keep all your Ferraris and Lambos
have seen the challenger at a few shows around Bristol. sound geezer that owns it , just can`t remember his name though. I am rubbrish at remembering names

Alan Sweet is the guy who runs VMS over in Bedminster - yeah nice guy.
What's funny is I've never seen a Challenger in Bristol.... I buy one and at the same meet Alan turns up with his mint Plum Crazy example
So then I go and buy a 1970 Plymouth Roadrunner, again never having seen another one in Bristol............... and then Playboy turns up with his mint one..
Mopars are like buses round here..... Ya wait all these years to see one and then TWO come along....
jon leonard wrote:some sound photos. I will have to get along to this meet at some point, when is the next one?
SECOND Sunday of every month. If the sun is shining you need to get there before 9am...... after that it can be tricky finding a parking spot. All the surrounding cafes are open for coffee and breakfasts...
So 11 May is the next one. We'll be there in the Challenger now its back on the road
After all that.... we didn't make it to Queen Square this morning due to the scabby weather.... I think I also saw your car amongst some pics on Facebook of the Bristol Hotrod Tuesday night gathering at the King Billy? Haven't been along to those meets for some while but plan to get along sometime soon so may see you there instead
