Signed, I doubt it will do any good though.

I think there may be more fruit in pointing out to the relevant planning committees that make this decision that there is significant pollution on the site that would require extraordinarily expensive clean up operations before it would be safe to build homes on. The cost of that alone might put developers off.

Or conduct a smear campaign in the media on the subject, putting off potential homebuyers in the area. If the planners loose their profit incentive they won't build.

Worth a try, however that didn't stop them building on the Royal Small Arms factory in Enfield..... a few brown envelopes to the right places and job done......people who live their now are experiencing all sorts of illnesses, especially the kids...........big scandal!

Guy,
People just don't realise the cost go upgrading tracks. 20 odd years ago, a friend of a mate who's business was doing well put in over £100,000 to Shakey. Which was a quite a bit of money back then ....

But in reality was a drop in the ocean & returns are not always there from the meetings.

What's the deal with Shakey? To my understanding the farmer takes the admission money and the raceway organiser(s) collect the track fee from participants? Tell me if I'm wrong

They use the word sites, does that mean they're looking for more than one to build on ?
