How's it looking for cars? Can someone update at the end of the day, as I'm still planning to bring the nipper back tomorrow, but if all the racers go home, I'll have to take her to Pod.
24 hours in a day, 24 beers in a case. Coincidence? I think not…

Plenty of racers still there Stu, when I left about half 4 the track was shut due to a bad oil down at the top end, was a rumour they were gonna call it but I don't know the outcome.
Weather was great and forecast same for Mobday 8-)

Good to see the MMA members making the effort, spesh Miles and Mike :thumbright:

Great day, shame the hydraulic tilt seal on my borrowed trailer bananarama itself this morning when I was set to go but better I found out before I had to raise it and unload the car having got there. What about that driving job on the supercharged car was it ? Twice lost it, over the centre line and still kept his foot in 8-) . Good to see the diff sorted Jim and sure you'll be back in the 11's.

If your ever get hungry and need a bite to eat at Shakey the pies in the bar are mustard.

Only down side if you were racing is it's a shame they closed up at 5pm. When you think Saturday was a virtual wash out it would have been good to run later.

Good to meet Steve and Dave new to me.

Have a good day tomorrow fellas

I had a good if hectic day. Started at 5.50am and drove the 225 rainy miles to arrive at a sunny Shakey without incident in under 4 hrs from Cornwall.
I had 2 goals: one was to give my car a real long distance shakedown and 2, meet my MMA mates that I rarely get to catch up with.
Success all round. 450 flawless Mopar miles in one day ( yes I decided to come back same day as most of the boys were just day tripping and sleeping in my car after cold lonely beers didn't seem attractive) and got to meet the boys.
Caught up with the brummie duo of Steve and Dave81, Mick and his 14.96 Mustang, Ade W in his shorts as ever and John S, sorry I didn't stay for that beer mate, will do better at the Nats  and thanks to Guy for the car tips! always a pleasure to see you.
Big hole in wallet, but worth it.
Oh, and some cars, bikes, scooter, vans went racing!

Glad it all got going.

Will take a punt on it tomorrow and see what happens. Gkad to hear Guy made it.😎

P. S. Thanks to whoever left the secret message inside my windscreen on Friday night. Made me laugh when I was on the way back on Saturday and steamed up. 😂

I suspect that was Blue getting his own back for my in-appreciation of his musical selection. :D

Having been first one there and well ahead of everyone else, I may have been slightly pished by the time the Essex Mob rolled up. Oh well, if you can't talk Bananarama! with her mates...

Sorry, chaps. ;)

Lovely car Chris and yes, Dave was on a stake out ready to mug you and have it away!! Really nice to meet you, Ian, Mike and great spending time with the usual suspects (thanks for the brew Ade and the chally sounded AWESOME when you drove away!!)....Great day, unlike my day at the Pod today!! :( :(

Loved Micks mustang, nice notchback and Jims red Challenger gave me the usual stirrings in my pants every time I see it =P~ First time Ive seen Miles' RR in the flesh...looks great and those wheels are fantastic. Car of the day for me was the Coronet cop car....very nice! :thumbright:
