Some progress......

Big thanks to Jim Smith (Challenger) for working on the car and also putting up with my simpleton questions!

Car was MOT'd two weeks ago to give an upto date fail list at which he could go at. Quite a few were as expected and mirrored the fail list of 2012 (mostly underuse issues)!

Couple of extras which included me forgetting to put the battery clamp back on :help:, but overall not too bad!

Hard to believe its been off the road for two years, but luckily whilst not driving I've been collecting parts for this.....

Somethings missing......

Anyone remember me cross threading one of the nuts when putting the slots on.......Result =

Luckily the week after I did it I'd got to order stuff from Rockauto and added 5 studs to the list......

Back together......

Next side in progress.....

New Moog Upper & Lower Ball joints, Inner, outer tie rod and sleeve, new brake hoses and as Jim had it apart I asked him to put the new KYB's on....

Need to Re-MOT and tax it plus a few other non MOT items and the car should once again be road legal.......... :woohoo:
