charger grille trim question

are the long upper and lower aluminium trim grille pieces on a 68 charger both the same? as i have two top pieces but need a bottom!!

James - nice to see you bumping un-answered cries for help. A proactive step considering what has been said before in other threads (one in particular now locked). Twice I ahve seen it now and I appreciate it even though its not being done for me here.

I will have a look in my parts interchange book tonight. Not sure how much help it will be. It may just give two different part no.s for upper and lower which doesnt necessarily mean they are different and wont interchange. Will get back with what I can turn up anyhoo.

I think I have drawn a blank (I say think cos not all avenues exhausted mate - got some mote books to check).

In the mean time, PM Paul500. He has a 68RT in bits at the mo and his front end is all stripped down. A lot to be said for holding both pieces side by side and doing the Daz doorstep challenge.

He is a knowledgeable and helpful fella. Give him a try.

I've just measured both bits of trim, both 56" long exposed & whatevers hidden under the side pieces. I checked both of them & they look exactly the same i couldnt see any difference. I'm not sure how there clipped on, heres some pics of the bottom piece mounting bolts ( couldnt get to the top ones as grill's on shelf with loads of other stuff)
