Dart and Sunset

I was cleaning the 1969 Dart (first time since the NEC last year

) when I noticed a great sunset forming and much of it was reflected in the (nearly) flat panels of the Dart. Very artistic.....

Quite idyllic, can think of far worse places and ways to spend a summers eve.

I took the support van with all the tools for the Race car and I towed a 1967 Plymouth Barracuda fastback that I have for sale at the moment....Julie drove the Super Bee to the Nats with her friend Andrea - very "Thelma and Louise"..............I did not get a look in...

Badged as a 273 sleeper but Dodge did not build a 273ci in '69.......

360 stroked to 408.

Ran 11.7 in "Drive" in California with 3.91:1 gears in it.

It now has 3.55:1 gears so a bit more tame............
