Peeling general lee stickers off - paint fade marks?

Post by sho ryu ken »

Hi, I want to take the stickers of my general to have a nice orange charger, but worried that underneath the orange may be a slightly different shade.

It was sprayed/stickered about 10 yeas ago. Most of which has been garaged by me. Otherwise under a cover. Little sun exposure as far as I know.

Reckon I'm good to peel them off? or will it end in tears?

I was thinking rinse with hot soapy water then just peel off slowly

thanks

Heat them with a hair dryer they will come off much easier and should not peel the paint away. without the heat you are more likely to cause damage.

Once they are peeled off just give the paint a buff with T-Cut to bring back the original finish.

"FROOK ME" don`t use a hair drier or you`ll mess the paint up.........use boiling water instead :thumbright:
