I'm considering replacing the door skins on my Challenger as this may ultimately be the best course of action as the existing panels seem to have led a very hard life.
Any comments/observations/experiences on this topic would be appreciated.

Must
Upol #2 weld through primer
Upol Acid #8 etch primmer
Optional looking at your car yes
3m Roloc range
Few tac then check check check
then check again then weld
Enjoy it as this is the most enjoyable and rewarding part of the build.
I learnt to weld solely from You tube videos so maybe a door skin search there would be good

You can do more damage then good with a door skin folding tool, they are mainly used around window apertures where you cant get a dolly behind the usuallys covered with rubbers. ( pillared/modern cars)
A decent hammer and dolly then body file and DA off with 80 grit the 240 no need for filler job done .
Also we used to use structural adhesive (or modern windscreen bond) on the face off the door frame so no need for welds ect usually get about 15-20 minutes of time to hang the door and align with body spoons in the shut also at this point and once set you can twist or tweak areas of the door that need bringing in or out to line up flush with body shell and wings ( p.s make sure your hood and wings are set and gapped as this is what you will be making your new skins fit to .....)

Having done other cars I would try to have the door on the car when skinning otherwise the whole frame can twist and you won't see it.
I didnt know full skins were available for Challengers?
