It sure seems that way they are in utter disarray. Not just Darling and Prescott but all three leaders of the main parties, well thats not true UKIP has a much better chance in the next general election that the Lib Dems :D

They are seriously bricking a YES vote as it will end them and the Cash Cow that is propping up the UK.

I like this quote though;

Nick Clegg - actually outside!! He is saying they are north of the border becuase it is a momentous decision... basically saying almost exactly what David Cameron did, including the family of nations crap - as Jan Mcdermid said so eloquently on this page, thanks Jan, "We are better together scotland" "we love you scotland" "look at what we have achieved together scotland" " we are family scotland" " but if you dare to go independent we will punish you every way we can" if this was a real family social services would be called and Scotland , wales and Ireland would be taken into care" perfect summation - has the cheek to say we will not be able to afford to take care of welfare costs by ourselves. Really Nick? You are having a laugh, after what your wonderful ATOS achieved for the whole country, including a few suicides. Great job. An independent Scotland would have to try very hard to do worse!

Bit rude to call over 50% of the population of Scotland Neds but then thats what we expect from the English. ;) Blatant generalisation and disregard for the Scottish people that causes the hate many in Scotland have for the English. :)

Another interesting article, this time from C4

Given projections of decreasing oil stocks and decreasing oil tax revenues, Scotland will find itself in a different fical position. Elevated borrowing costs would mean Scotland would have to raise taxes or cut public services.
The gravy train shudders to a halt? Possibly...possibly..

Eh?

Well, this being the 10th & the referendum is held on the 18th, then that gives 'The English'a mere 8 days (7 more like as everyone has knocked off for the day now) to try -
every trick in the book to scare Scotland into voting No

Damn those English Johnnies

How long do you think actual independence will take......?

There are literally hundreds of things that are not being asked about how it will work post yes vote!

Yea it easy for Salmond to trot out the 10 major benefits, but there are many others that seem to have been overlooked!

As for the three muppets travelling North!
Milliband desperately needs Scotland if Labour are ever to gain a majority and power again.....as Scots have been a Labour stronghold for years!

Cameron, due to massively understimating the scots and taking Devo max off the table may find himself in deep Bananarama! if it goes the way it's looking........he may even find himself having to ask about votes of confidence/non confidence from the party when it's all done due to the truly awful handling of the situation!

As for Clegg.......he's like uncle bob! Nobody really wants him but he has to be invited as he's family.........Lib dems as a party are now the 4-5th in the UK and will not feature again for many years if ever!

On a side note I trust Salmond less than the sleaze ball Milliband........I don't trust either side in this!

I hate politicians!
I also expect the UK to drop a big hitting headline NO vote grabber at the start of next week to try and get the pendulum to swing again.......

Question time may be worth a watch tomorrow......... :thumbright:

I've been mostly avoiding this thread because I knew I'd find it annoying and tbh being a Welshie I'm not that fussed.
I'm amazed that you guys on either side of the argument actually believe any of the toss the politicks are trotting out.
The ONLY thing Cameron and his pet monkey give a crap about is their ego, and whether this will affect theirs and their friends money.
Salmon is ALSO a politician and therefore doesn't give a damn about anything but his wallet and his ego. Does anyone seriously believe he's any different?

NOBODY knows how a yes vote will affect people. There are NO facts at this stage, only biased guesses. On BOTH sides.

THE ONLY things you can be sure of are:
Some things will be better.
Some things will be worse.
Some folk will be better off.
Some folk won't.

It's purely down to whether the voters hate the current situation enough to take a chance.
It's just a toss of a coin.
Good luck ;)
No-one will believe you...
