Fuel tank Swap Dart 68

Post by GJUK »

Hi guys,

Ive got a new tank for my dart, has anyone swapped these over before? Never, it looks like quite a simple job, undo the straps and it should mostly drop out.

Any advice? Other than empty it before doing anything lol!

Thanks

Jon

Pretty straight forward, you might need to disconnect the filler tube from the wing to be able to wiggle it out of the tank, it can be quite tight in the grommet.

Really simple on post 70 Darts. Filler tube out, clamp feed hose, undo the 2 nuts and it drops down in the cradle!

I was amazed how much rust and Bananarama! was in there on mine!
