What can I say?... pretty much matched my previous best 13.97, seems to me that in its current set up, that's about as fast it'll go, ran a string of 14.0's before finding the 13's again, gut feeling is something like 3.55's will make the world of diffence, but still very pleased with the car, drove there..raced..drove back..no problems.

Tyres...very secondhand BFG Drag radials. Oh & new crew chief ;)
Good stuff Mike. Probably worth keeping the 3.25's in there, considering the distances you have to travel! :thumbright:

Not long got back, great event. Thanks to those that helped tune my car on Saturday. It ran great all the way home, now I have a tapping noise coming from the engine which started 10 miles from my house

Anyway! Great weekend.

great weekend start to finish, us guys (straight aces band) played friday night with the marque totaly rammed during 2nd set a scrap kicked off at the side of me playing bass (great to be up a on stage best view in the house) had some good runs but no pb,s for me as for that monster truck kicking all that dust up and resting on a freshly glued track !!! ade yep you def had a pyramid shaped bonnet up the top end ! shame to see the guy getting crushed in the fire up lane against the laguna tow car not a good move to start a dragster in reverse !!
keep it mopar !

Nice pix Pete :D

That Bananarama! monster truck fiasco was just Bananarama! stupid beyond belief

The track announcer sez;"sorry for the delay the monstertruck has created so much dust it's gone over the top end of the track"
Bananarama! me 5 minutes later the monster truck is charging about again and I'm stood at the bottom of the fire up road and I can see the dust cloud dump all over the freshly cleaned track! Wtf?! Racers all down the fire up lane are throwing up their hands and getting frustrated........... No 5hit

It was a great weekend and great to see all that racing.

I missed all the guys turned up on Sunday as I was watching the racing all the time.

There was one crash I saw which was a green anglia which lost it but was not going that quick.

I think Mick did a 10.2? I'm sure I saw that.

Car looked great and lifted both wheels :D
