Well it isn't TBF 705M, I ended up with what was left of that.

If he was an old club member I have 2 other possible cars it could be. But since he went to some effort to disguise his plate I won't publish them here.

Did anyone think to get a pic of the compliance tag? This is one of the cars that I have been trying to cross reference between the old club lists and the factory lists.

This is EOE361K, was at Brooklands in 2012. I agree the front plate looks different now, but just checked my pics. The V8 logo on the wing and the sunroof are the same so is the same car.
Car is from Amersham way.

Behind that cover plate is a number starting with T and ending with M. No pics on the show website either.

TBF705M still comes up on DVLA,so not recorded as scrapped. Last tax due 1983.

Strange, that's def a plate ending in K. By the DVLA site it's likely the V5 for TBF is still out there unrecorded as scrapped.

Unless someone has the shell to TBF705M (???) then it was scrapped some time in the late 90's. I have the V5 for it, a guy in B'ham sold me all the parts he stripped off it (the hood now lives on Craig's CH Hardtop). The engine now lives in my Charger. Interestingly it was chassis #910, mine is #907 they were built on the same day and came to UK together.

So if the scrappy in-fact kept the shell rather than crushing it, it might still be out there. However, the reason it's not listed as scrapped is most likely because I have the V5. I thought the guy had sent it in already and I had an old copy, but perhaps he didn't. He had got rid of the shell maybe 5 years before I got the parts.

It would be interesting to what's going on. Matts pic def shows a K plate and the recent pic shows M plate, certainly the same car.

If it is EOE 361K then I know which chassis # it is. It should have the rare (in UK) R77 option and be Chassis VH#747, but it did have a VJ front on it.

However, look at the master cylinder. Old pictures I have of EOE 361K show a VH master cylinder. These latest pics show a later PBR master cyl (usually found on VJ's). I think this is a different car. Perhaps the owner owns both and combined all the good parts to make 1? I can't explain why 2 seemingly identical cars show up with different number plates, there must be a rational explanation.

But it is the location that is making me think that this could be another car. The reg number I thought it might be (the only possible one on the list) was last registered in the club in Amersham!!!! Coincidence?
