Are they not physically exactly the same, bar paint and numbers?

Ah maybe that might explain why the top gun turret is in a different place to the other plane?

Yep, BMK1 & BX quite a few changes.

Aircraft are like that, same basic types, lots of variants, some looking similar, some not, the Mozzie is a good example of that as well as the Lancaster.

And Spitfires - so many variants, shapes and roles: Fighter, Photographic reconnaissance, ground attack....

Its a easy spot...the Canadian Lanc is a left hand Drive :D
