Just a thought...

Yes Paul it does and then some, and your right, you don't need to go stroker at all.

If the crank needs a grind, grind it Johnny, its no big deal, should clean up at -10thou??....a set of 10:1 slugs at zero deck to compliment your Ally heads, an XE268 hyd or similar, an airgap intake, prep the bottom end and have it all balanced and your done for a nice torquey street package that should be well in excess of 300hp.....

Spot on Les,
You just listed all the bits I already have for the engine build, although as you said in a earlier post the Quick fuel 600 is too small, so that may be up for grabs , when I buy a larger one.
I know more on Monday, after I've talked to the "V8" guy :thumbright:

Johnny, my cheap 360 was pretty much as Les listed. 360 with speed pro 10.0 pistons, lightly ported j heads with a valve job and a 268 XE cam, air gap and Holley 670. Loads of fun and spin yer tyres at will....especially if you have no Sure grip!

Dave I already have the heads, I imported them, they got here before the Dart did. :thumbright:

They are Pro comp electronics/speedmaster PC 3048, I'm led to believe they are Chinese copies of Edlebrock Heads. They look very well made to me.
They don't rate them in the USA, but I think that because they are made in China.
But what isn't these days.
I have all the correct springs and stainless steel valves, just need to build them up.
The proof will be in the dyno read out . :thumbright:

They are Chinese, and apparently based on the Victor head, Airwolf use them as a base for their 220cfm heads but with mucho work done on them.

Whatever you do, get them checked out properly, don't just assemble and install. Valve sizes/length/shaft pedestal heights etc. can all be problems.

Thanks for the advice Les, will do.
They do look very well made, very smooth casting, valve guides and bosses, not intrusive, like the "J" heads

I've decided, at the moment , to get some more money together, and get a short block.
So I'll be listing/selling, all the small block 360 parts, this evening, or over the weekend.
