regulartor dilemma?????????????????????????????????????????
Im running 16x injectors
8x Small 300cc injector below supercharger. Directly pointing at inlet valves.
These will be used at tick over and up to a certain rev.
(these are on fuel rails with both sides open )
Then
8x Big 500cc injectors above the blower for large fuel delivery.
(these are connected to a fuel block)
How would you connect a fuel regulator ?
Below is what i have

The above blower i have no choice i have to give it a line of regulated fuel
The below blower in an idea world would be run like this

So you would run one line from tank to regulator and use the regulator to split the feed to the two fuel rails??
Most Standard efi fuel rails run the regulator after the rail to keep good pressure and stop with the injector pulsation affect of the rail pressure.
This is how it will be on your lovely corvette.

My issues is im running 2 systems
Regulator specs
(3) x ORB-08 Ports
(1) x ORB-10 inlet port
(1) ORB-10 return port
Its also 1;1 boost reference (increases pressure as boost goes up)
And has gauge ports etc

It's a good ideaGuy wrote:Why not run a low pressure high volume pump to a swirl pot then two high pressure pumps both regulated, one for each system returning to a common return pipe back to the swirl and then a return line back to the tank from there.
I have brought a tank with one big efi pump built into it with efi sump and trap doors.
I would need to buy 2 more pumps 2 more regs and a swirl pot !
This is the tank I have with a aeromotive 1000 submerged to keep it quite

Thanks all
So the regulator has 3 out puts
Is there any gains by joining the 2 rails together or just block them off ?
Can't hurt join them ?

been thinking about this Will , I admit ive never attempted to desgine a electronic fuel injected set up , know enough to fault find & replace on modern stuff , & know the ins & outs & can take apart & assemble a capri 2.8 injections set up blind folded .
i'm taking a guess here , think your going to need some kind of return from the fuel rail , & fuel block , marked 1 , in the picture , it would have been a barrel valve in the old days of mechanical fuel injection .
something is telling me you might need a metered return .
not sure if you need one from ( the pressure regulator 2)
red line fuel from tank
blue line return ,& black bit , fuel flow restrictor . not sure how , may be t them both together with one way valves back to the tank
i'm just guessing ,
also to stop the injectors being affected with the pump pulses , lots of cars are fitted with a fuel accumulators , they have a spring loaded diaphragm inside to dampen the pulses . a mini external swurl pot would prolly do the same , you should have a swurl pot , built in the tank also to hold the fuel around the pump pick up , at all times .
just floating a few ideas & thoughts Will , may be of some use to you & food for thought !

Most important thing is that the regulator is after the rails, not before.
You want full pressure at the rails.... Do not deadhead
Plumb from the pump direct to the fuel rails, ideally using 'Y' fittings to split to each rail. I don't know what the supply feed is, but may want to consider 2 supplies if only small.
