None Paul, both my stick cars had std type clutches in them, ran the 340 Cuda on track a few times with cheater slicks and it was ok, I would go with Blue's suggestion and talk to Tim Hyatt.....the American forum wasn't much help was it, everyone has different ideas of what works best.....

This article may help some as well.....

That's some exotic looking kit!
How does shipping compare with say the US? Do we still get screwed for import duty, etc?
yeah all looks sexy but we are talking a 360 not modern hemi here so i doubt it will look as good :)

shipping is shipping came in a box and was sent with posty based on weight.... can't remeber but wasn't too bad

i didn't get taxed

i took a risk with the posty

they were amazed i let the lot out the door with no tracking minimal insurance and only signed for.

tax man owed me anyway for all the things he charged me for when it ws replacmnets for incorrectly sent stuff.

Adrian Worman wrote:I used a McCleod Super Street Pro clutch last change. Admittedly just before the Nats (2days) so it didn't get a proper bed-in but it works bootiful and took loads of track abuse since.
I'm still using the factory flywheel now but I'm gonna get a billet one for the stroker motor. I may use a twin plate assembly instead cos if you price up a decent flywheel and strong cover and plate you pay about the same.
I would still always use a diaphragm cover over a Borg & Beck style cover, more clamping force and lighter pedal pressure.
The dual friction surface plates are very good, organic material on the cover side and ceramic/sintered bronze/whatever on the fly side. Don't know how aggressive the wear will be against the flywheel yet, but I suspect it won't be much worse than a regular disc, the 'pucks' on the DF plates give a much greater clamping effort and the separation allows them to run much cooler.
Heat is the flywheels killer ;)
Ive gone for this set up too.

No problem Paul. It was about £350.00 inc vat and delivery from Real Steel and that was also using my discount card.

That's a good deal, I might give that a go. If it's good enough for you and Ade it should be good enough for me!

I can always upgrade to a twin-plate in the future if I manage to kill it ;)
