If you haven't already got one. Make the workshop manual your first purchase!

Worth its weight in gold!

Will help with identifying everything inc specs, torque ratings etc!

A must have!! :thumbright:

Got mine of US eBay for around £20 delivered. This was in CD format.

You can, if your lucky get a hard copy, but they were around $150 plus shipping.

I've just printed mine off.
About 850 pages for the chassis manual and 300 for the body!

They do cover the whole dodge range for the given year though!

Mine being 72 means I have, Polara's, coronet, charger, challenger ect specific pages......all good fun! :thumbright:

Has anyone explained the Mopar premium............... :D

Ohh...........Too late now! :thumbright:

Don't ever look at Ford or Chevy part prices.........they are at LEAST 1/3rd cheaper than any Mope part....... :help:

Just the way it is!

Always check summit and Rockauto for parts (we have a 5% discount code in the traders section for Rockauto)!

Rockauto is great for normal, stock style parts!

Both the above will add VAT at there end.........so it's quick 5 days is the norm for Rockauto from order to delivery.

Others like Mancini, OPG, year one etc are also good, but anything over £20 and you get stung for VAT here. That's usually a week delay plus parcel farce like to add 10 for just lookin at the box.

Then you have six pack speed shop and WASP!

Too much to explain in one go!

If in doubt ask here first........we can usually help on parts choices and possibly brands to go for/avoid, plus let you know if they are asking over the odds........

Like a big family really! Great bunch with loads of knowledge............plenty of Charger owners that have been there done it/destroyed it/rebuilt it........so you should be in safe hands!

Mark,

Rockauto is good to use for day to day sundries

Or give WASPS a call for a quote on stuff.

As for hard to find bits and bobs, welcome to Mopars !

There is a sticky near the top of useful companies with links to their brochures

your issue with parts will not be finding them

it will be paying for them

just about everything is availble somewhere

things that should cost a lot don't and then you discover you are going to have to pay 3K for half a grill and the end bits off the trim for the rear end or new surrounds for your indciators

or something like that....

keep everything you take off

Hi there,

We ordered our pulleys & brackets for our 440 (with P/S, no A/C) a few years ago from

http://www.bouchillonperformance.com/

We got them sent to Ron Fenton's 'facility' in Florida and he brought them in, in one of his containers, which saved ££ on shipping. Which is ok if you're not in too much of a rush! Ron's a member on here and runs STS Imports.

Good luck whichever method you choose :thumbright:
