Hi, trying to find out the cost of re -conditioning my original 340 heads or checking them out , cheers

What do you propose to do?

Valve guides? At least £350 I would think.....

Probably worth porting the bowl area if the heads are off and valve job being done. CC the combustion area to adjust compression.
Ad the costs up v new heads which already flow better. I opted for the latter.

he puts in new guides new seats blends seat into port

will 3 angle if you ask

provide appropriate stem seals

will grind in and assemble if you ask

will skim if you ask but tell him what type of gasket you intend to use
