Re-upholstery service needed please...

Post by danny_duke01 »

Hi,
I am hoping someone can help me with recommending a good re-upholstery service please.
I need these seats repaired and i would like them to be covered in the color 'tan' also.
I am located in Hertfordshire.

I also have the x4 door cards that need to be dyed 'tan' and this one also needs repairing.

I have always re-upholstered my own seats with covers from the likes of Year One or Legendary, it is not hard to do.

Not sure if the mainstream suppliers will do a kit for your car, though. Have a look on their websites...........

B Trim in Brimsdown are very good, I don't know what you are expecting to pay, it can get expensive.

Depends on how 'correct' you want it to be.
Like Pete I've done it myself with a Legendary kit and it's not too hard to do with a few tools and a bit of space.

I've used these in the past:

They did a great job and not too expensive, might be worth sending them some pics of what you want doing and get a rough quote?

A R Pound in Baldock, behind Tescos. Traditional trimmer and sail maker, does lots of classic work.
proper old fashioned place, but a very good reputation.

I have a mate in Harlow who did my Satellite and a GTR. He also does all of Custom Exotics in Harlows work to.

Check out some of his work here, my GTR is the black and oxblood pic

We've used Joe a couple of times and would recommend him to anyone. Reasonable prices too! :thumbright:

Only trouble is getting hold of him and getting him to ring back, so we had to look elsewhere when we wanted to get our vinyl replaced :(
