Must admit Drew.... I did not realize till I started the lines! There are some cool shapes there to follow... Want to do a nostalgic flake job on this...
Just can't figure it out yet. Sure I will get there!
Nice Jeff.....watched a show recently with Chip Foose spraying a car. He mixed a bit of black in the paint and used it to 'shade' the bottom of the sills and doors....very effective
Guess I should add some artwork to the trunk lid, just like it would of had in the 70's...... Also have to get some gold leaf on there somewhere to compliment the green.
Panels have to have some sort of effect, not sure what yet.
I think this is about there for the green base & layout... Now just have to figure out the artwork... This uses current metallic green paint on the car, plus two added green shades. Then the whole lot is covered in a green flake/pearl.
Then it is time for the airbrush, so need to design that next.
poison Ivy........ As some of you may remember I used to have a 33 plymouth Rod...... When it was first built, it was called poison ivy. That was back in the 70's..... As this is green, I thought I would use the name..
It will be on the trunk lid in true 70's style....... Text will be in real gold leaf obviously! Getting excited now!
