Hi Guys
Getting the Charger ready for her first MOT and working my way round the jobs, need to pull the Dash Gauges Panel out.
I have removed all the screws including the one under the Chrysler Badge, have disconnected the speedo cable.
But I am still not getting a lot of movement in the panel, it feels like something is holding the right side back, it is all lose and moving, just not coming out, anybody got any tips before I end up damaging something ?
Thanks
Adrian

there’s not a lot of play in the wiring loom, could be that
i found i could disconnect/connect the wiper switch on the right side with the cluster away from the dash ok
but the headlamp switch on the left side had less play in the loom, had to be done from underneath
also, drop the steering column a couple of inches, 3 bolts under the dash frame, 4 bolts in the floor plate, makes it much easier, prevents marking the cluster bezel or the column, rest the steering wheel on the driver seat, only takes about 10 mins
when i do it again,(need to soon as the speedo head is noisy / bouncy needle) i will make an elongated u bracket to hold the column a few inches below the dash frame, then you can remove driver seat for even better access
don’t drop the column too far, you might stress the flexible coupler

Loosen the four bolts that half the steering column to the fire wall and then loosen the three nuts the hold the steering column to the under side of the dash and lower then column. Now remove the radio bezel panel as the dash panel is under that. The only wires that limit the you pulling the dash to far out is the amp meter wires and the headlight vacuum hoses all the rest have plenty of length.
