Indicators Flashing Slowly

Gents....finally finished the indicator conversion to orange bulbs in the reversing lamps on my Fury. Ive put a new 12V fused feed in and completely new wiring from the switch and everything works fine now...apart from...they flash very slowly. Im assuming its the flasher relay. Have tried my spare which doesnt work at all despite continuity test shows pins are ok. Im getting 11.8V to the relay with the engine running....any ideas please...am I missing something??

I was aware that this type are needed for LED bulbs but didnt know they worked on 'normal' bulbs

i fitted it on my standard bulbs and no problem so far.

My Truk indicators were flashing really fast the other day as if a bulb had blown but they were all fine- turned out the flasher relay was having a fit. Had to spend nearly two pounds on a new one!

I sorted this with an electronic flasher from Moss. They are on e-bay for about a tenner with postage. Cured my slow / static indicators which I've put LEDs in the markers.
Best £10 spent on the car yet.

thanks Matt....seems to be a pretty common thing and hopefully the new flasher will cure it. Nice to finally have everything working. I was ready to bin the switch until I did some googling and stripped it down, cleaned it and put it back together. Seems fine now but if it doesnt last, Ive found a place that does good quality reproductions if anyone needs one.....cheers Steve
