Likkle /6 turbo motor.....

Post by Jeff »

Well, I have started on the parts list..

Yeah, I know I can do what everyone else does, and put my 360 in the Duster. But I fancy something a little different.

I have got the Turbo now, just getting the materials to hook it up....
Then I am looking for a new intake, carb etc.

Trying to do it on a budget, picked up a new unused Garrett turbo for $80.
According to the experts, running this at 15psi should get me to 300HP, that will be drivable and reliable..... More boost can be added, but it may start eating parts.

being in canada you are in a prime place for Propane carbs and performance LPG expertise

Impco 450 gas carb boost refernced regulator

and you have leway on the boost, propane is something like 108 RON.

aussiespeed

do a nice big long open plenun hyperpack style slant 6 inlet which leaves enough space for a holley 4 barrel base plate and your gas carb and pipe-age
