Anyone got rid of all the junk under the hood. It looks untidy, and I don't need it as the car is exempt from any emission testing...
I think I read that I should keep,the charcoal filter..... But I must admit, I would like to see it gone in the future.

Most of it doesn't have any effect on performance. The only thing worth doing away with is the TCS system.
It does all look a bit untidy, but doesn't do any harm.
If its got smog stuff on it, then the biggest performance drop comes from low compression engines that came in around 1972 onwards.
