Trans am challenger

Post by hemi472 »

Hi, went to a small-ish car show last week in florida , and happened upon the Sam Posey car which was a surprise
Must admit I didn't realise how flared the wheel arches are on the Trans am cars.
Cheers chris

Yes it was the car of the show for me, most of the other cars were exotic stuff, proper high end italian stuff which I have no business looking at :D

This is worth a watch if you're into that:

includes the famous story of over-lightening the roof through acid dipping if I remember correctly - ended up cutting the roof off a brand new Challenger from a nearby dealer to get through scrutineering!

Hi matt seeing as your car is a hybrid no offence meant by that,, could you see yourself flaring your arches and fitting wider guns, it sure makes that dodge look a hard case,,,,,,,

I did think about it but chose to keep it standard, so it can be made a "normal" road car if I ever chose to. Those arches are a bit too Chop Shop for me.
