Electrics help - indicators

The indicators on one side of my Jeep have suddenly started flashing twice as fast.
The other side is OK and there are no lamps blown.

Any ideas?

I'll lay money on it you have a short in the flasher unit. Its only a plug in relay so its easy to change, but not sure if its easy to get to. They are normally mounted in a cluster under the bonnet. Locate it, give it a waggle n a tap. It may be moisture in there but chances are its just worn out.

Had this lots of times.

It doesnt sound earth-fault related thats for sure.
