Steve, Owner had it 20 odd years in his barn waiting to start work which obviously he never did ...not a scrap yard car ...as far as I know.?
all prts you cant see are inside the car except motor and trans
2 extra bumpers and dash...all the trim, lights, glass etc....no front screens though.....oh and rear wheel spats 8-) 8-)

Is it these cars that have the filler cap under a rear light or am I thinking of something else?

hi Steve...welcome back mate :thumbright:

What a fantastic project and no probs for a man with your ability!! I love the shape of these cars...absolutely beautiful lines. The one Ade posted just looks perfect. I look at the styling of these monsters and just think we have gone backwards over the last 60 odd years

Cheers Steve :thumbright:

I agree Steve...computers can't create a shape of style and beauty ...its all about efficiency so eventually they will all look the same only the badge will be different.

Adrian one is lovely but I think it's out of my price range initially. ...maybe later

Regarding the roof chop.
Does look an awful lot of work for very little effect IMO.
Hardly a massively noticeable modification compared to say a Ford pop etc.
I think the same effect could be achieved by using 2 colours of paint. Darker on top and a lighter shade below.
Or all gloss black !! =P~

Your thinking right Gary ...
There really isn't much difference....They look sort of chopped in the flesh roof line to window base is 1/3rd
Of total sill to roofline...ideal traditional Kustom proportions

Good luck with this Steve, it's gonna be great. I particularly like the green one. As been said, hardly worth the effort of a chop.
Cheers
