What do you call these?

Post by drewcrane »

I have these I call them window guides,

but I can not find a vender that sells them or I am not using the proper name,

anybody over there know where to get these ,I have known people to use sheep skin the fuzzy side but that attracts water.

Yeah I think you need to find a clever way to restore those Drew. I couldn't find any when I rebuilt the doors on my Chally. Ended up re-using the old ones. They were very worn but, once cleaned, still functioned as they should.

They look like window stabilizers:

The site says 'coming very soon' but It's said that since last year. I emailed them but didn't get a reply. Found some very nice used ones in the end.

The ones I have are worn all the way through to the metal, and it even scratched the glass, and embedded rust in to the glass, I have to see if it might polish out

There you go. ;) Sometimes you just have to scratch around in your garage to get the inspiration. :)
