You are sounding a bit thick there Andy.

What you have there is a very strict Muslim government being pressured by a huge majority Muslim population to stop this evil organisation because they killed Christians.

I am just wondering how this fits in with your world view of all Muslims trying to kill us or convert us like the Catholics did to much of the world?

It's no where near as simple as that Dave. ISIS are sweeping over the whole of the Middle East. Their hardline ideology is like a beacon to the brainwashed and they are gathering more and more to them every day. If they cross the boarder into Egypt and potentially topple an already shaky government. That and that alone is the only reason they are using the beheadings as an excuse to bomb them.

Have you ever been to Egypt Dave? I've worked there and other North African Muslim countries for years. I've known guys who (French) who had their 4x4 high jacked and they where beheaded.

Check out some of the independent journalists on the net, cross reference, look between the lines at what the agenda of the business that owns the media outlet has. I have never said that there isn't a threat. Of course there is. What I argued against is your reasoning of what the threat actually consists of, how big it is in reality, and how it should be dealt with.

Someone believing in a different Jewish one-God based Bible to you does not make them a threat. How can I put it into words that will get through your skull?

Super simple for you Dave. That was well over 100 years ago, there is no threat now as they have moved on and in general quite peaceable, tolerant and ignore most of the teachings anyway. Islam has not and will not. Anything else you say is moot.

Dave may of not, but I have worked in Muslim countries such as Egypt, Morocco, Pakistan, Indonesia, Turkey to name but a few. I have made many good Muslim friends & colleagues from throughout all the years I have been travelling.

Are they all radicals, no. have I come across some radicals, without question, such as when I was caught up in the riots in Indonesia & all expats were evacuated or during the hotel bombings in Pakistan.

Then again, I have been caught up in countries such East Africa by their own radicals, who were not Muslims.

Any country, any religions have extremists, but that doesn't make them all extremists or fanatics.

I do have concerns on some of the reports on certain Muslim groups, but I am also wary of distorted news reports.



I don't see why you have to throw snide remarks about people salaries, occupations, less traveled to try & get your views across.
