Cool footage.

When I was about 8 , so 1979 . Christmas Eve , my brother and I stayed up late and waited till my parents were in bed so we could watch for Santa.
Once we were sure they were asleep , we pulled open the curtains and looked to the skies. Right in front of us , about 100 foot above the rooftops was a glowing blue light with a paler blue centre which seemed to be a spiral shape that was jiggling about.
I crapped myself and told my brother to watch it while I went for mum. I shook her and told her what we had seen , but she just said its probably a light from a party.
I ran back to look and see if the light could be coming from anywhere, but could see nothing.
We sat and watched it for about five minutes mesmerised , then all of a sudden it shot up vertically out of sight !
Curtains pulled shut and back to bed very scared.
The next morning , Christmas Day , there was a news report of 2 different UFO sightings , with artists impressions of both. One cigar shaped , and the other a blue light !!!

I have tried to research this a good few years back through a local UFO club , but got no where.
I would love to see the news report again.
Definitely something I won't forget.

Oh. And I never looked for Santa again !!

When I had a new boiler fitted (thanks Adrian :thumbright: ) I put the old boiler on the end of the driveway to take to the tip. I just went back into the house to get a few more bits and when I came out the old boiler was gone!

Explain THAT one to me. :read2:

Personally I think the aliens are here to collect scrap metal because they have used up all their metal building giant flying saucers. 8-[
