Over-reaction from a bunch of PC liberals. (Howzat ? I could fill in for Clarkson yes ? ). What a shame. I suppose some of the studio stuff is filmed the previous week. THat said, I dont see why Hammond and May couldnt do that bit and just show the films he had already made before being suspended ?

Although doesnt he 'own' part of topgear ? So is he is suspended , it is suspended ?

Not the worst thing the BBC has done recently. Updated the news app on your phone yet ? DONT - its horrid, but thats not the point. The point is the news app has changed, to near universal hatred (like 80%+) - blogs are full of it, app store is plunging, comments threads are being closed due to the negativity - and the BBC just WONT accept its a dud. They seem to have entrenched themselves in 'oh, it must be fear of change'. I've never seen such a case of fingers-in-my-ears-and-la-la-la.

If they wont back down on that, they wont back down on Jezza I'm afraid...

Ah wot a shame I was just startin to enjoy the current stuff, they really got it right at last ;)

Remember Jonathan Ross gettin the boot from the beeb?
Best thing ever happened to him, went to the other channels straight away with loads of success and now the stuck up Bananarama! have took him back.

They aren't bigger than the personalities, although I have to admit the other 2 are lightweights compared to Jezza.

He'll get a contract with the loons at channel4 and make a Bananarama! load more wedge & introduce some more extreme humour to whatever he does..........

I'm waiting :thumbright:

I think the Beeb still has a lot of dusty creaking old farts at the top, still running it like an old boys club. They don't like these young upstarts like Wossy and Clarkson getting all popular with the yoof of today.
They're also too damn stubborn to admit when they're wrong so chances are now this has blown up so big they'll give him the push and shut down Top Gear in their usual childish ner-ner ne ner-ner way.
Bearing in mind it's all still "alleged"

Should find out today...

Loved the 'stig' delivering 1,000,000 sig petition to BBC in a tank.

Only one winner out of all this - Clarkson. Big style. My money is the BBC have to cave, they cant cant risk the audience he generates.
