I did get Permission from the Motorhead management to call the Altered "Over the Top" (OTT - "T" Bucket) with the Snaggletooth on it...

I do not think is is really appropriate in this situation as I am sure it will end up with period paint at some point.....

Funnily enough, those are both names that I had thought of - honest!

Apocalypse mainly through previous conversations with Blue as I know he had thought of that prior to using "Detroit Hustle".......

Maybe your car can have a word with my car while at Pete's to make it go faster :D :D :D.

Looks great, I love the background to the car.

Best of luck with it.

Nice project Pete, Dunc certainly knew how to make power with a Hemi, 950hp+ ...RPM, but that has and had its downside of course. I'm sure you got all the spec. Would be somewhat easier to do with a 572 wedge!!

Deffo have a serious think first on how much weight you can get out of it with fibre parts etc. as you know, that will dictate the engine build level to achieve your goal of a 9.40, either way your gonna need around at least 890hp even if you can get it down to around 3700lbs with you, which I doubt will be easy?... I'd go for a mono leaf caltrac system although harder to set up right than SS springs as they tend to hit the tyre hard.

Anyhow good luck with it, some serious thought needed here me thinks as a small tyre, big hp car is gonna take some work to get on the money, but there is someone doing the exact same thing already who could give you a few pointers if needed.

Name wise, it took me ages until I thought about what I did for a living, I was a printer then, so "Hot Metal" was easy, .......how about "ressurection"
think thats been done??

Thanks guys for the continued positive comments.

Yes, Les - Caltracs and Mono-leafs will be the order of the day, and weight loss without losing the essence of the car - not speed at any price.
