Wideband bung location in exhaust

Wideband bung location in exhaust
All looks a bit tight down there. Where do you guys put your wideband sensor?

I don't know if there is a optimum distance, but it just seemed to be a logical place to put it, you cant see it from the full exhaust picture , but it is located in the top of the X pipe. This location , however is very close to the prop shaft, but as they say " a miss is as good as a mile" so its ok.MilesnMiles wrote:Ah, both very different locations. On my Turbo Buick it was something like 18" down from the turbo.
I'd be happy to stick it on the crossover pipe as that's conveniently my next job.
