Advice please !! (axle)

Hi Guy`s,
Just a small little question here. When replacing the wheel bearings on an 8.75" axle with the "green" type bearings, do you leave the spacer in the diff in or is it better to take it out? To space or not to space, this the question etc,etc. Thanks in advance.

No need to take it out, you just need to check that the shafts fit correctly, bolt in one side then fit the other side and check that the bearing retainer fits flush on the brake backing plate before you tighten the nuts down. If it doesn't then remove both shafts and grind a little off each end until they fit and you are done.
