Yes you have done a really nice job with that car, you have done it over a long period of time so it wont feel like you have put that much effort in but back track your thread, its taken a lot of hrs well done matey..

Thanks Dunc ;)

I've now tweaked my windows as they were sticking at the bottom.
I've lifted the drivers door a touch to compensate for the sag due to hinge pin wear. Another tweak to the latch height and it shuts lovely now.
The motor starts instantly and idles well. I ran it up to temp, the fans kicked in and kept it at 85-ish. AFR at idle 14.6, vac 5.
No leaks, no nasty noises, gears all select, brakes work.
Sweet :D

That was in the plan mate. I tried out loads of designs on paper and stressed for weeks over what go with. In the end we came to the day of painting and I'd still not made my mind up! We laid on the colour and it just didn't need anything else. I'd forgotten what great lines and subtle contours it has, the colour brought it all to life so I decided that wad it done!

I agree. IMHO graphics and wilder colours suit the 68-on shapes, but the earlier stuff looks better kept simple.

Looks great as it is :thumbright:
