Sorry mate, I'm a little confused here (as per normal!) if I use the alternative lash table you sent me, which is the one Roger recommended, why would I need a measured stick? ... :?

It is a quick double check that Racers use, not the end of the world as long as the Balancer is clearly marked, turn the motor 90 degrees and insert the stick to confirm at TDC - Grumpy uses it as a safeguard.

Yeah the balancer is clearly marked in 90 degree increments mate, ie 270 180 90 0 in that order as it goes clockwise but I could always bring an old push rod and marker just in case ..:thumbright:

Don wrote:I spoke with the organisers this week, from what I can gather the Mopar parking area will be in the same area as last year, ie just behind the main grandstand. If that changes i'll try and put a message up from my mobile. They wanted to park me up with the film cars this year to which I strongly objected, so it looks like i'll be on the Mopar stand .. :thumbright:
Whats wrong with the film section???? That's where I am. Or is it just because you all like doing the club thing?

I've just found out I'm entering through the Paddock entrance round the back not main entrance so hopefully won't be too bad getting in.

I suspect if they had a 'historic nascar replicas' section Don would prefer to park there! ;)

My guess would be that whoever asked Don to park with the movie cars, looks upon his car as more of a 'The King from the movie Cars' than a functioning Nascar replica 8-)

This is great news for us as our little in has a model of "The King" from cars like your car and has been walking round for the last two weeks holding it saying "seeing racing car on Sunday"

Be good to meet you as we are practically neighbours, or will be when the Fish & Eels bridge is done. :)

I'm sure Don wouldn't mind a young Mopar fan sitting in the king for a pic or two . ;)
