Dragstalgia 2015 - Who's going, Who's racing?

Post by Pete »

Fri 10th to Sun 12th July 2015

Santa Pod goes back to the way we were with Dragstalgia, a weekend dedicated to drag racing, hot rods and bikes from a bygone era with classic dragsters and funny cars, altereds, hot rods, American muscle and more.

There will be Championship Drag Racing and Run What Ya Brung sessions on the track along with the a Jet Dragster and 2 seater Dragster Rides. Off track there will be Show & Shine, Live Music, Traders, Cacklefest, Historic Car Display and more.

http://santapod.co.uk/e_dragstalgia.php

Roydon and I will be there, and the car is booked into the RWYB (Which is now by invitation, so it shows how popular the event is getting).

So the role call from the MMA perspective is:

Roydon and Pete - 1968 Plymouth Barracuda - RWYB.
Pete Wiseman; Cambridge.

Lifes Too Fast But The Car`s Not, It even managed to miss the boat twice.
Now passed customs.
Now on route.

Hi,

Sorry - going a little off topic here with what might be a basic question but . . . . "Superstock" class . . . so the description reads:

Shootout for pre 72 American bodied cars with stock rear suspension, carbs only no power adders, slicks are allowed.

What exactly is defined as "stock rear suspension" here ? e.g. Can you run with CalTracs, Ladder Bars, 4 link etc.

Just curious more than anything else on what they are/are not defining as stock.

thanks,

adrian.
