Holley rebuild book

Post by Bryan »

Can anyone recommend a book or point me in the direction to rebuild a Holley 650 vac?

I do have a Holley book and to be honest I did not find it that informative...it is really a question of working through the carb methodically, blowing out all the airway passages, making sure the gaskets are replaced like for like (The is a big difference on the primary metering block gaskets) and ensure float heights are ok and that the floats are not punctured.

I find that if the carb has been left dry for a long period of time, the Viton needle seals fail and need replacement - symptoms are that you find yourself constantly re-setting the Float heights............I am sure there will be on-line tuitions........
