Great to see the Bluesmobile - this was docked at the top (and bottom!!!) of the car park...it attracted lots of admiring glances. Paul was particularly taken with it, he may give up racing now!!!!!
Also a very sharp and stylish newer Mustang accompanied it.......thanks to both of you for swelling our ranks!

Yes good to meet a few of you finally. I'm sure I'll be soon picking all your brains to get the Bluesmobile running right!Pete wrote:Great to see the Bluesmobile - this was docked at the top (and bottom!!!) of the car park...it attracted lots of admiring glances. Had a bit of an embarrassing issue when we left as it wouldn't start! Just wouldn't fire up just like when I first got it. Luckily I had a jerry can of fuel so poured a bit straight in the carb, left for a few seconds then it fired up no problem. I'm thinking maybe a fuel pump issue. Wonder if it's worth fitting an electric pump.
Sorry about the Speed camera Pete!

See you all next month!

It might be worth starting a "Workshop" tread on the Bluesmobile so you can keep track on developments and other people can see the fruits of your labour....
In terms of fueling, an electrical pump can need a bit of plumbing in and can be noisy, so a mechanical one is fine for basic everyday usage.
Small block and Big Block fuel pumps are different

No probs, it'd be great if we could take up more of those spaces. Maybe park length ways I guess
Stuart was there in the Polara, honest. But he doesn't park with us ruffians as he has his own bay
Thinking about it, with Matts chally, the new bluesmobil and the twins satty. Oh and if we could tempt Stu to park nearer, we would have a nice line up for a Wednesday evening
