I agree tho, he's a good choice if they are going to continue. He might not have the ability to do as good tests/reports as JC did but he could leave that to the other two (if they continue?) and just be the anchor man.

Hopefully the subject will be about cars and not the presentation staff.

I think Chris will do well. He's about the only TV person into his motors and with a big enough personality to pull it off. I say good luck to him. He's another marmite, but I love the stuff he does.
However, whats the betting the BBC bananarama! it up with their PC ethos ? I bet that the co-presenters will have to include 1xwoman and 1xethnic-origins-person. Not that its a problem if they are truly the best people for the job, but I cant shake the feeling we might see some positive discrimination here...

Lets see.

:iagree:

good luck to him

Evans says there WILL be a female co-presenter

here ‘s your chance Dunc, show ‘em how it should be done …

Chris Evans has said auditions will be held to find his co-hosts for Top Gear.
He told the BBC's One Show anyone from around the world with "a real appetite for cars" was welcome to apply, whether they were "famous people" or not.
"If you're up for it, we want to hear from you," the Radio 2 DJ added.

you’d have to watch your Bananarama! language though, otherwise the Bananarama! bleep-o-meter would be off the Bananarama! scale :D

That's an exceedingly good idea you have there, Dunc would make an epic TG presenter, get that application in Mr Watts!
