Removing steering box ( Non PAS )

Whats the best method ? ( 69 charger )

Ive seen the roll pin at the bottom of the column where the box connects to the column itself - Do i Knock that out and then pull the column upwards ( remove steering wheel / column bolts and pull the column out ) or is there another way ?

Any tips will be handy as its the first one Ive done

Knock roll pin out and then undo the four bolts holding the base of the column to the firewall and then remove the two nuts and on bolt holding the column to the dash and then pull column up till it dis-connects from the box. Now undo the two engine mounts and lift the engine to remove the box.
