So do i, that last Duster i sold had a black grill, i repainted it silver, nearly as bad as black bumpers.
I've just moved the indicators into the reversing lights on my mustang, i painted the clear lenses orange.

You have done good job there Dave and she is looking a lot better, hope you can start driving her and enjoy.

These cars always need more work, as we all know.

Time to try some proper bodywork.............No 1: Metal.

Front end lower pane after 2 hours sanding and trying to push out dents:

After filling, sanding and priming:

No. 2 Fiberglass:

The new hood (of Detroit Hustle fame):

As its not a 10 second car, plus I wanted to have the classic hood pins look, I needed to remove the Dzeus fasteners and fill the holes:

First time doing fiberglass work:

Sand fiberglass resin down, add filler, sand that down, add more filler and sand again, then add primer, sand, more primer.....Holes, what holes!!!:

Needs more filling and sanding to make perfect (air holes).
Some more custom/individual touches to do, then it needs black (though I quite like the Two Lane Black Top Look)!
