Charger 426 Hemi ?.... for sale in USA

Post by Raminduction »

Car is for sale in Miami Florida.

On the windscreen it says "London Motor Museum" and it looks like an English number plate ?

Also the VIN states it's an XP29 ? ( clone )

Anyone recognise the car ?.....looks as if he has a few more for sale as well
if you click on other items for sale.

that charger was forsale on ebay a few years back think it was south or north London well somewhere in that general location , it was nothing to do with the London motor museum then , the guy had it up for big dough then if I remember correctaly , for a XP car , ( no offence meant XP guys ) had it a long time by all accounts , I tried the buy the Hemi , wanted 16 k for it

** EDIT ** meant to say 16k just for the hemi

The god-awful grey/wine 73 Cuda was on eBay for months at £75k if I remember correctly. Now in Miami and a snip at £24k.

I think it there was a mention in the Classic American about a new place in Miami and Elo involve.

Good luck to them, some expensive cars.

It's not even an R/T.....

Usual thing - £20K car and add a £12K motor and suddenly the car is worth £75K.............. nice work if you can get it.........

I'd happily smoke it around though.... 8-)

Doesnt even look that good an example. What on earth are those seats from ?

Ref the 'add a 12K motor'. Its something I've considered. I mean my cars OK, no close up beauty but the bits I've done I've done nicely. She's worth [say] 18-20ish or something. Would adding a Hemi REALLY double its value ? If so then as an investment in the car the idea has legs...

I think you can safely say putting a hemi in your Charger would at least cover the outlay at this point. As a future investment that seems fairly certain, but to what extent, who knows?
The likes of Elo & Alan Carrington try to get silly money for cars like this, maybe sometimes they do, often they don't and the cars sell eventually for a fraction of the original price. This just muddies the waters regarding a cars "true" value, but I can't see any car with a hemi in it being worth less than 30k these days.

Definitely something to do with Elo, sellers username is car collector 1972, Elo's username on eBay UK is either the same or 1972 car collector.
