Hi Jerry.Ammojerry wrote:Are they dropping the modern Mopar category this year? I saw there was one last year. Just curious.
I am not sure what the Nats Committee have planned, but what has been announced here is the "race" categories, not the "show" ones; so my guessing is that it will still be there.

Hi peeps.
So what's the deal with this then?
I'm possibly free this Saturday so thinking of popping along just for the day, is there a club stand of some sort that I could squeeze onto? Or can all mopars go into a show type area? Or is it everyone in Joe public parking?
Is it show area on the pit side of pod then general parking on the grass fields as you come in?

Oh yea not long now.........
Ok so I don't have a Mopar any more but enthusiasm for the event just keeps going for what is the best event of the year.
For many this is the target date to get things done by, and for me too so the Cougar is sporting new black convertible roof, rebuilt carb, new brake booster discs and pads, changed the dodgy brake switch and improved stereo system in the boot.
This year is going to be a bit different as we have been invited to the classic car event at Silverstone on the Saturday as special guests , so it's going to be racing of a different kind for us, and then seeing QUO in the evening.
We shall be up on Thursday evening with Cougar and caravan, and looking forward to seeing old faces and making new friends.
Best of luck to the Cornish boys on the long trip and see you all there

Yeah but there were still lots of people camping on those areas when we were there on the sunday.Pete wrote:At Dragstalgia there were BIG "NO CAMPING" signs on the approach road verges, so at least you knew where you stood (even if you did not like or approve of the message) so hopefully things will be clearly marked again this weekend...
Couldn't work that out as they were so strict wirh all their other cant-do-this and cant-do-that rules. Bastids

I'm looking forward to their more (normally) relaxed rules and regs for the 'Nats.

Don't suggest that Del, we'd have to move the Thursday night gate party to Wednesday nightDerek wrote:As there are so many going up Thursday is the Pod opening onThursday or 9am Friday.

Can see the Nats turning into a week long event
